Organically grown grapes undergo a short maceration period of 1 week, with mixture of 40% whole bunches and 60% destemmed grapes. Wild yeast are used and there is no addition of sulphur, no fining and no filtration.Aged in stainless steel vats for 6 months and then wooden barrels for a further 5 months. Undergoes malolactic fermentation. Neither fined nor filtered. 

Classic Nero d’Avola flavours of dark, roasted fruits of black cherries, red and dark plums, with liquorice, hints of coffee and bitter chocolate

It is medium-bodied, with remarkable purity and vibrancy, it still has ample power and richness. Much lighter than you might expect and almost Pinot Noir like. This is a fabulous expression of Garnacha

A juicy and spicy 100% Syrah, de-stemmed, 3 week macerated and aged for two weeks on lees in concrete after native yeast fermentation. This natural French red from the Rhône Valley is typically peppery.

A purple-red in colour. Notes of black cherries, black pepper and smoke on the nose. Full-bodied and ripe on the palate with a bright acidity and medium tannins leading to a juicy finish. Try with duck breast with a beetroot risotto, venison bourguignon or braised rabbit.

100% Bobal sourced from vineyards at 1,000 metres above sea level. With only 300mm of rain per year, the plateau is extremely dry; the deep-rooted old vines thrive in the low vigour soils of rich sedimentary red sand and clay. The grapes are fermented on their skins for 12 days. The wine is aged in 225 litre barriques for 6 months.

The name Cien y Pico means "Hundred and something" and refers to the age of the ancient vines from which these wines are made. 

Tasting notes: A vibrant nose which shows abundant fruit, along with chocolate and earthy notes. Blackberries, blackcurrant and cinnamon spice, along with cocoa and mulberry on the palate. It is soft with juicy tannins, and an uplifting fresh fruit finish

La Bruja de Rozas ('The Witch of Rozas') grapes are fermented and aged separately in wooden vats, using native yeasts and gentle maceration processes. Ageing takes place in French oak.

Elegant and fresh, this organic wine would make for great summer red.A vibrant cherry-red in colour. Scents of violets, balsamic herbs and sweet spices. On the palate, medium-bodied with beautifully balanced tannins and a fine thread of acidity. There is a pronounced mineral backbone to the wine and the finish has a touch of spice

The grapes for this particular red come from 50 year old vines grown on the south-facing 'Les Perrieres' plot which is situated to the rear of the estate. After a lengthy fermentation the wine is aged in oak barrels for 3 years.

A dark ruby in colour. A nose of raspberry, liquorice and earth. On the palate, rich and generous with defined tannins and a ripe acidity leading to a lingering finish. Drink with roast venison, beetroot and goat's cheese salad or a chunk of Epoisses cheese.

On the nose, there are aromas of redcurrant, cherries, cooked strawberries alongside herbal notes of mint, rosehip, rhubarb, lavender and liquorice. On the palate, it is generous, layered and youthful with ripe tannins and a smooth finish.
